The
de Facto S5 product addresses many market places, including
those previously handled by so-called specialist products,
vertical market applications or bespoke systems. de Facto
overcomes the inherent weaknesses of these types of solutions
through the use of its highly configurable feature set.
Powerful
and Easy to Use Features
The de Facto S5 feature set provides an extendable database,
which allows additional data fields to be added by the user.
The user is able to specify how data is selected, viewed and
processed. This is achieved by easy-to-use administration parameters
and requires no application programming whatsoever. Crucially,
unlike the case with many other packages, all changes made
to your de Facto S5 implementation are retained when de Facto
upgrades are installed.
The
product is divided into a range of Suites and Modules, each
providing a wealth of sophisticated, easy-to-access features.
de Facto S5 is scalable, suiting from five to hundreds of
users. de Facto has been steadily developing since 1994,
with new features continually being added. Those new features
are driven by both customer feature requests, and by our
own specialists who stay abreast of both business and technological
advancements.

Windows interface standards,
ensuring rapid user understanding, and maximum productivity.
The interface is consistently structured and organised, and
features intuitive and meaningful icons.

Facto S5 – Platform and Technology
The de Facto S5 product uses the industry standard Microsoft
SQL Server 2000 database to provide scalable industrial strength.
This platform provides many benefits, one example being the
ease of data integration with other applications via ODBC connectivity.

Facto S5 also provides full integration into such standards as TAPI
for CTI (Computer Telephony Interfaces), and can be easily
integrated with Microsoft Exchange Server 2000. Third party applications
such as ZetaFax and Orbis (alerts)
can also be utilised to provide such features as fax integration
and automated alerts via e-mail, SMS and voice messaging.
