Invicta Food Group to implement de Facto S5 ERP Software
Invicta Food Group Ltd are a group of companies which import and process a wide variety of meat products. The group of companies will progressively roll out de Facto S5 over the coming months as their ERP and Business Management software.

In 1997 they acquired Harlequin Foods which was primarily involved in processing meat, with such products as breaded meats. Invicta Foods itself continued to develop in the bulk meat trade, bringing in containers of meat and selling to trade. They mainly import from Brazil, and focus on Chicken. In 2002 they bought Eastern Foods which imports from Thailand, and is based in Battersea, London. In 2003 they acquired Wharton Foods which imports red meat from South America, Australia and New Zealand. In 2004 they bought Supremacy Foods, which specialises in cooked meat products.
Implementing
the Solution
Invicta Food Group will utilise the core de Facto S5 Financials and Logistics suites. As a Trading and Importing operation, they rely a lot on forward contracts, so this will be a significant aspect of the implementation, as will the extensive landed costs tracking. A further focus will be on tightening up the management and reporting of their financial position.
The whole group of companies will implement the solution, with Invicta Foods expected to go live in September 2005. The other companies will then progressively roll out the solution.
