S G Baker has chosen de Facto S5 as their Accounting and ERP solution. They are a leading supplier of specialist industrial and agricultural packaging (mainly bags and sacks) which they import from India and Far East.

Established in 1955 originally as a supplier of hessian sacks serving the potato growing industry, S G Baker has expanded and diversified and now operates from two UK sites, Angus, Scotland and Grantham, Lincolnshire. S G Baker are a leading European supplier of top quality specialist packaging, all produced to the highest quality standards. They supply products such as Hessian bags, Sandbags, FIBC's (Bulk Bags), Crop Mesh Ground Cover, Woven and Non-slip Polypropylene bags, Bespoke solutions, Cash Handling bags, Nets, Paper sacks, Polythene bags, Used sacks and Recycling bags, Mail bags and Geotextiles.

The acquisition brought together over 100 years packaging experience and S G Baker believe that this will result in even higher standards of product quality and customer service.

S G Baker has chosen de Facto S5 as the ERP and Business solution to run their operations. The initial implementation of de Facto S5 will include the core Financials and Logistics suites, and the CRM module and will be for 15 users. The system will go live end of March 2008. The second phase will include the implementation of de Facto's latest Business Intelligence module.
