W H Davis to implement de Facto S5

 Manufacturers of Transportation Equipment choose de Facto S5 as their ERP solution.

W H Davis will be implementing the latest version of de Facto S5 for a new company - Davis Wagon Services. W H Davis are designers and manufacturers of Transportation Equipment and are based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

W H Davis Ltd. was established in 1910, and the company was developed for decades manufacturing railway wagons. In 1968 W H Davis started manufacturing marine containers and subsequently roll trailers and special industrial trailers up to 200 tonne capacity. Following a management buy-out in 1984, W H Davis continued to develop its range of marine containers, railway wagons and industrial trailers. In recent years a range of swap bodies has been developed. Emphasis has concentrated on supplying their customers with transport equipment that optimises their operational requirements.

W H Davis manufacture all types of shipping container, including dry freight, bulker, open top, flatrack, platform, accommodation, generator housing units and laundry units. They produce Swap Bodies of all types and in sizes up to 13.6M. They manufacture and refurbish Railway Wagons, and operate a 24 hour mobile repair service. W H Davis design and produce Industrial trailers from 5 to 200 tonnes, with steel or skeletal decks, turn table or Ackerman, single or double steering.

Abel Demountable Systems Ltd, their sister company, manufacture all types of trailers, bodies, down to ground and demount equipment.

Davis Wagon Services will utilise de Facto S5 as the ERP and Business solution to run their operations. This fresh implementation of de Facto S5 will include the core Financials and Logistics suites, the Costing module, and will be for 5 users. The system will go live December 2007.

As well as the new implementation for Davis Wagon Services, they will also be upgrading their existing de Facto systems for W H Davis and Abel Demountable Systems Ltd to the latest de Facto S5 solution. In addition they will implement de Facto's Business Intelligence module across all three companies.
